The high-speed FZG test stand is based on the standard FZG test stand. This is also a testing machine with a power circuit. The gearbox and the test gearbox are connected by a functional shaft train and a torsion shaft. There is a clamping clutch on the functional shaft train to apply the load. The torque is measured at the torsion shaft. The test stand is driven by a speed-controlled asynchronous motor.
The associated oil unit for injection lubrication has a cooling and heating system that keeps the test transmission oil at the desired temperature. The temperature of the gear oil can be preset and controlled. The FZG high-speed gear tension test rig was developed jointly by Strama-MPS and the FZG at the Technical University of Munich and is constantly being further developed together. A target speed of 22,500 rpm with up to 600 Nm at the pinion can be achieved.
